We are a group of people in central Kenya at the Metropolitan Sanctuary for Children with Disability. We have a passion to design and fabricate a range of equipment for persons affected by disability. Our products include chairs, standing frames, wedges and other rehabilitaion devicies made out of recycled cardboard & cartons. For income generation, we create hand made paper and paper crafts, which are sold world wide.
Working with and hosting professional artists across Europe and Africa, we have exhibited art and offer on site residency.
Our Sanctuary Artists are a group of mothers of children with disability who have been trained and experienced in cardboard art and design, and paper making techniques since 2010.
Design and form a range of custom designed assistive rehabilitation devices out of recycled waste cardboard, wheat flour, newspaper. Produce quality hand made paper and art out of vegetation & cotton rags.
